I haven't updated in ages, I just don't get around to getting on the computer too much anymore, but I'll try to be more frequent with my updates!
I've been getting tagged all week on Facebook, it's this thing going around where you come up with 25 seemingly "interesting" facts about yourself and post them for the world (a.k.a., whoever is on your friends list on Facebook) to read. I don't find myself too interesting, but here were my 25 facts

1. I've worked at most of the burger joints in the area. Burger King.. McDonalds.. now I'm at a little diner called Burger Spot. I've been told I should apply to Wendy's to get the full burger experience but I think whatever experience I was already unfortunate enough to receive is perfectly fine with me.

2. I have the habits and enjoy activities that are those of a 75 year old woman. I love puzzles, card games, quilts, Law and Order, classical music and dark chocolate. I'm curious as to what I'll be like when I actually am 75. I'll probably have a motorcyle.

3. I'm not impressed by guys who play guitar. Sorry. And I'm whatever the opposite of impressed is of guys who play drums. UGhhhh.

4. I was a cheerleader for three years. That's as weird to me as it is to you.

5. I'm a fiend for useless, trivial information. And modern art.

6. I haven't seen my natural hair color since I was 12. And I don't suspect I ever will again. Unless it turns snow-white. Because I think that would be the coolest. Might I also mention that my hair has been light brown, dark brown, black, blue, orange, blonde and red? Yikes.

7. My family has never owned a PC. Our first computer entered my household in 1996 and it was a Mac. The way everyone gets all flustered and angry the first time they use a Mac is similar to my reaction to any Windows computer.

8. I didn't file my taxes last year. Which is both illegal and stupid. Oh well.

9. I ran away once when I was seven. My parents wouldn't let my best friend Hilary come camping with us so we decided to run away. We got to the corner of our street, turned around and ran into our mothers' arms crying. Because leaving home was a much bigger thing than I could handle at age 7.
Or at 17, for that matter.

10. Hospitals scare me. I've never had to go to one for any reason other than to visit someone, and for that, I am very very grateful.

11. I have no cavities either! I am a beacon of excellent health at it's finest.
Well. I take that back. I love McDonalds.

12.I'm in love with astronomy. The sky, the stars, the universe, the planets, it all interests me. I'm always really annoying and point out constellations and interupt conversation to point out something about the sky. For Christmas, one of my friends got me a telescope. It's awesome.

13. I've been avoiding this one.. I'm almost 18.. and I still don't have my drivers license.

14. I love love love organization. But I'm the most unorganized person I've ever met.

15. I work at Family Christian bookstore as well as Burger Spot. And FCS is the most stressful job I've ever had. But nothing beats talking with people and helping people who want to get closer to God. Connecting to Christians in my community is so big with me, and I feel the FCS is my catalyst for that. Working at FCS is draining because of all the standards I have to meet but I would work there for free.

16. I am a twin, as most of you know. And I get these questions on a regular basis:
"Are you two identical?" (Oh yeah, you bet. If by identical you mean, we look nothing alike. Come on, people. Identical means THE SAME. Jen and I look nothing alike!!!)
"How can you be twins when you have different hair color/eye color/everything?" (Okay, there is a really scientific answer to this that I could explain, but whenever I do, people tend to lose interest in about ten seconds. Pay attention in tenth grade biology, guys. You'd get it.)
Oh, and my favorite: "Can you guys like, read each others minds?" (I can't even comment on this. Good Lord.)

17. I'm a compulsive money saver. I start freaking out if I have to spend large quantities of money.

18. I love my cat Meeko. But she does not like me. She always looks at me like she can't believe I still live here, and when I touch her she meows like she's in intense pain. Meeko, on the other hand, is in love with my twin sister. Probably just to torture me further.

19. I generally always smell good.

20. I love watching TV series. House, Lost, Heroes, and CSI own my summers. But only on DVD. I can't follow along with that stuff on a weekly basis.

21. My mom is my best friend, and also the most wonderful woman who ever lived.

22. My dad is probably one of the smartest and men I know. I hope I marry someone as hungry for God and knowledge as he is.

23. I love to sing. I just love it. And the fact of the matter is that I'll never have a super amazing voice. But another fact is, I'll never stop singing.

24. I have a soft spot for people in poverty and people in pain. I could spend my life loving these people and doing all I can to help them. I'm currently involved with a group called Light Gives Heat, which specifically helps widowed women in Uganda make money for their families. I love being apart of it. I can't help it. I love loving.

25. I think my church is amazing even though I don't think I really fit in there.
