So I'm finally doing something to help, and I mean really help.
The organization Light Gives Heat is sending me a box of 30 Suubi necklaces (that is, the necklaces made by some African women as a means of getting an income to help their families) to sell.
I have tons of friends who've seen my Suubi bracelet and been interested. I know I'll be able to sell every last one and send the money back over.
It's exciting. I'm excited to help. I'm excited to do something for the country in which I talk about helping, but never actually do much. I know spreading the word is the biggest thing. To let people know that people do need help, people do need our money, but most of all they need our ministers and our God. He's their God, too. And they need to be made aware of that. A country like that is in the state it is in primarily, in my opinion, because it is largely a Godless counrty. They have their religious beliefs and all, but if they're not of the One True God, they are harmful and wrong.
So here's me, selling little recycled-magazine necklaces. It's what I can do for now.
Let me know if any of you are interested, the necklaces don't run very expensive at all, and I should have them within two weeks.
Thanks.
